What other customer said at the original online store:

".......NEW/UPDATED REVIEW April 22, 2013 for P5113 WiFi only: On October 24, 2012, I received this brand new Tab2 10.1 Tablet(and I have enjoyed it for almost six months now with Jelly Bean (updated January 11, 2013). Sadly, Adobe no longer supports Flash in Android 4 & up, however, for the time being, I found a flash workaround and installed Archived Adobe Flash on this tablet for viewing many internet videos (not Amazon full videos, yet the trailer videos play fine). (If you need to know how to install archived flash, just ask me in the comment section and I will assist you in this). So I am able to watch many (however, not all) internet videos (please see my comments below regarding Amazon Videos...And please see my very recent comment that will give you more info on this. *At this time, Amazon Videos will not play on this tablet or the newer Android tablets. This is not the fault of the tablet, instead it is because Adobe does not support flash on this tablet. However, with a workaround (so far) I am able to watch other internet videos OK. PROS: - EXTERNAL SLOT FOR MICRO SD CARD (This sold me on this tablet) I placed a 32g in mine for music, files etc. I have read that some have added a 64gb card and it works, but I still don't need one that size and have not tried it. Note that this was one of the deciding factors that sold me on this tablet. - Overall speed, performance, smoothness, picture quality: I rate it a 5.0 out of 5.0 stars with the Jelly Bean update (Jan 2013), before I rated it 4.95 as it still ran beautifully (screen is the same--great). - Large 10.1 Screen - the screen has stunning detail, easy to view and just breathtaking to view for videos, webpages, eBooks and more! In fact, I rarely use my 17" laptop as I go all over the house with this tablet and travel with it is well. - Watching Online Flash Videos Directly From Browser (so far all still are working with my workaround using the archived flash. Netflix movies view well in the free Netflix app available in the Playstore. (More about this in the comment section, see the newest comments). - Home Videos - The stock video player is OK and plays MOST home videos, however, may I suggest QQ Player (Free App from Playstore) as it plays(and does a superior job of playback) every type of home video I attempted. And it plays home videos that other players will not. - Internet & Webpage & Video Viewing - I use Maxthon Browser and webpages render very quickly and view with great detail both on text and pictures. Now for INTERNET VIDEOS: For the time being, many online videos work fine using Maxthon Browser. And Amazon trailer videos work fine, but not the full length videos. But at least for now, I am able to watch some internet videos. - Music Player/Sound Quality - The stock music player runs very well with Album Art, audio settings, the usual settings one expects in a good player and it is very easy to create new Playlists on it. The sound is loud with the external speakers, loud enough without having to use a headset; however, I listen with my noise cancelling headset for music, videos, etc. To sync easily with Windows Media Player may I suggest the Playstore app free) WinAmp for the tablet as it is very highly rated and the sound is SUPERB! - Battery Life - For me, good battery life and it has improved much since updating to Jelly Bean. This is what I have found: When I am on WiFi, I go to the websites I need and then as soon as I am done (reasonable time), I exit the browser (or YouTube, etc) and TURN OFF WiFi. However, I run my brightness at 100%. So on an average day, I get at least 8-12 hours using the tablet before I charge it (depending on how long my WiFi is connected). Why? Because I love my 100% brightness, both the brightness of the screen and WiFi On HOG the battery. - SPECIAL MUST HAVE APP I SUGGEST: Netflix (free in Playstore), You really need this app if you plan on watching Netflix using this tablet. - Overall Speed/Overall Response of This Tablet - (Now even faster with Jelly Bean) Apps, internet and everything runs much faster and smoother as well as super responsive. Personally, I rate overall the score for this tablet with Jelly Bean a 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. - Reading/Creating/Editing Word, Excel, Text Files and much more on this tablet: I downloaded a FREE APP called Kingsoft Office which I use for Office files and for reading PDF eBooks. *This is a MUST have for tablet owners in my opinion, and on this tablet, my docs are crisp and clear using this app. - Wonderful Kindle Android App and I downloaded several Kindle books with no problems. Kindle loads fast and this Tablet is a joy to read a book on either Kindle or any eBook or PDF booklet. - On-Screen Keyboard - For me, I prefer to use the large keys on the on-screen keyboard so this one is PERFECT for me to type on. However, there are many great Bluetooth keyboards out there for the Tab2. - The tablet is very well constructed, however, to secure it better, I bought from Amazon a stand that I set it up in landscape mode and it has 3 positions. - Bluetooth Speed and Performance - The Bluetooth paired quickly with several devices and copied files at a great rate of speed. Speaking of Bluetooth: Also there are many great Bluetooth keyboards out for the Tab2. (Just make sure you purchase one for JUST THE TAB2 10.1). - I downloaded an excellent FREE Anti-Virus for the Tab 2 and it works great. - Price - Reasonable for this high end Tablet with lots of features, speed, etc. - A GREAT PLUS USB ADAPTER FOR THE TAB 2 - I added on a USB adapter for the Tab 2 that allows me to read a flash drive (copy back and forth to flash), plug in a USB corded mouse and the mouse worked just fine on the tablet. Now, what I do is I copy files from my computer to my flash drive (thumb drive) and copy them onto the tablet and then if needed copy files from the tablet to my flash for copying into my laptop later. **This is so handy and faster than having to plug in the USB cable to the tablet and PC, what a great shortcut! - (However, I purchased a wonderful MoKo slim-fit stand for it as I use the onscreen keyboard. And with this cover/stand, the tablet fits easily into my medium backpack with ease or into my tote bag, etc. CONS: - As of 4/21/13 - (This is NOT Samsung's fault)- This Tablet NO LONGER PLAYS AMAZON FULL LENGTH VIDEOS. (Trailers only). This is not the fault of the tablet or of Amazon - it has to do with Adobe not support the NEW flash. So downloading the older archived flash gives the ability to view SOME internet videos, but this is better than no flash at all. Keep in mind this is not the fault of Samsung or Android, it is just after 4.0 Android came out, the NEW and best flash is NOT supported for Android devices. It is what it is... - No headset included (the new Galaxy Tabs DO NOT HAVE A HEADSET included. However, bought a Samsung headset on Amazon for the Galaxy Note and it fits this perfectly and has loud sound and very high quality (it was under 10 dollars). Also, eBay carries genuine Samsung 3.5 headsets as the generics are not that good of quality I have found). - Very small instruction "manual" provided with the tablet, however, I went to the Samsung site and downloaded the full manual and saved it in PDF on my laptop for reading anytime I need it. If you want the link for the manual, let you know in the comments and I will give it to you. Bottom line: Would I buy this WiFi only model over again? Yes I certainly would--even with the limitations of Adobe not supporting the newest flash, etc. This tablet is meant for QUICK, GENERAL USE as for checking emails, checking weather, using the YouTube App, Netflix App. At this time, it DOES NOT replace a laptop or desktop computer when you need to do heavy, heavy typing (but there are Bluetooth keysboards to solve this). It is truly for portable use and it is worth it 100% in my opinion! Also this WiFi only is perfect for me because I am close to WiFi 99% of the time when I use this tablet, and for emergencies, I have data on my much wonderful Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with 3G. So if you are looking for a superb Samsung 10.1 inch tablet and you have great access to WiFi, this is the one to buy. Note that there is quite a lot of information regarding how to do many things on this tablet that you will see in the comments below. And also, I am kind of a techie person so if you are to have any questions or comments, please ask me and I will be happy to answer. Hope this review has assisted you and thank you for reading it........"

"........So this device just came out this morning, and I hadn't planned on buying it but I was down at my local best buy store and played with it just to see what it was and loved it! Let me say I used to have all apple stuff, apple computer, iphone, ipad, etc. Over the last year my apples have rotted, went bad and needed to be replaced. Instead of paying high dollar for all new apple stuff I went back to a windows PC, an Andorid Galaxy S2 phone, still had the iPad but it was in need of replacement. So I got to Best Buy they didn't have these out yet but they pulled one out and let me play with it while they set up the are for the demo unit to go. I liked it, very snappy, great screen. The device comes preloaded with ICS on it, it's VERY snappy with zero lag so far. The screen while not a retina display like the iPad is still clear enough for me. After all I'm not holding this inches from my face. if you do you get a chance to play with 1 of these before you buy go to the movies app on the device and play the life demo to see how clear and crisp the display is. It quickly synced up with my Google account and I was already able to start downloading apps from the play store within minutes of getting it turned on. So far this device is excellent. It feels like it's built well, the back is not as fancy as the Galaxy S2 phone however I plan on getting a case for this so the back battery panel to me doesn't matter much. I'll update this later after I get more time to play with it, so far though for $250 this is a great deal. I also played with the Kindle Fire and the Blackberry playbook both which were available for $199, but I opted to spend the $50 more for the Samsung as I've been impressed with Samsung quality over the years. (Currently my TV's, blu ray players, computer monitor, phone and now tablet are all samsung brand. They make good products in my opinion.) --UPDATE 8 hours later-- I used the GPS on this earlier and google navigation/maps to get me to the hardware store. Ok I didn't NEED it but I wanted to test it out. I found that you MUST have internet for google maps to give you directions, I had a hotspot in my car so I turned it on and navigation worked perfect. If you don't have wifi you can still use GPS, it does lock on fast however it can't query to get you directions. If you used an offline GPS program like navigon or something that would do the trick, but YES gps is accurate and fast. I also used the bluetooth on this to stream music from the Tab 2 to my car, quality was excellent. Apps and stuff, so far every app I have tried is compatible with the exception of one, and I can't remember what that one was so it was one I really didn't use much at all I guess. I have put a few games on to test it, so far so good and still no lag. Hows the keyboard? It comes with stock ICS keyboard and it works well, if you start typing fast there is a tiny lag between hearing the click of the feedback and seeing the character appear, however all letters make it without any vanishing. I am looking for another keyboard though as spelling isn't built in it appears... I am probably switching to Swiftkey or swype both which appear compatible with the device. Also, the IR Blaster = awesome! I was going to buy a $100 harmony remote for my entertainment system, well this Galaxy Tab 2 has an IR blaster built right in and the application for it is simple to configure. Less then 3 minutes I had it set to turn my TV on, control my bose sound system and also control my Tivo HD and Blu Ray player. Very slick! More to come, if you have questions on how this works please leave them in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them quickly. Also, if you find this review helpful please make sure to mark it as such! --UPDATE-- Morning after, do I regret buying it? Nope, still a fantastic device and I'll tell you a few more things I found out. 1. I use Dropbox on my home computer and put the app on this tablet. I also use a tivo at home and thought about how could I get my shows on my tivo to my computer then to my tablet? Well I use TivoToGo to transfer shows to my computer, then I place them in a drop box folder and they sync automatically to my dropbox account. I then on the tablet have an app (free and paid versions) called "Folder Sync" and I have that set to every hour check my drop box Tivo folder and download any latest tv shows my computer has copied. This means that in the morning when I leave for work my tablet has all my shows from the previous night I didn't get to watch on it so I can for instance watch one or two on my lunch break, without having to have a wifi connection at work! 2. Need to make a phone call? Unfortunately this device doesn't have phone support. However Skype works great with both video calls and audio calls. You can pay for a phone number from skype (it's cheap if you wanted it) and actually treat this like a phone assuming you have wifi wherever you are. I did try google voice app, that will not allow you to make calls and use the tablet as a handset, it instead asks you what phone in your account it should call. ---UPDATE 2/20/2013--- I see a lot of activity on my review, big thanks to everyone that found it helpful and I love the activity. I wanted to provide an update. While I really liked Galaxy Tab 2, I did make the jump a few months back to the Google Nexus 7 and have to say that tablet has taken over as my primary device. The Galaxy Tab 2 and Nexus 7 ARE similar, however I really like the pure google/android experience that the Nexus provides. If you are on the fence, I would recommend going with the Google Nexus over the Galaxy Tab 2 at this point........"
