"........I purchased mine from Computer Upgrade King here on Amazon. I'm sharing this due to multiple seller's operate off this same page. So there is a chance for confusion. Everything was fine w/ my purchase. I researched by the model # before hand, to be sure of the specs. I also checked out the seller and found their web site. Check LENOVO'S site and Google it. I have the S230u 3347-2GU and the S230u 3347-2HU they look the same, only the insides are different. The drive in the Twist S230u 3347-2GU is actually a hybrid. It has a 24GB flash boot drive and a 500GB 7200rpm (NOTE: the 24GB is not accessible, It's just for speed. You wont see it except in device manager etc. Pros: Excellent keyboard( spill resistant too) , Good port selection, Wide viewing angles, hard drive has air bag protection, It's Quite, 8GB ram, Great wifi so good I have yet to try the RJ45 connection. Cons: short battery life, and battery is internal(no carrying a spare to change out). The keyboard is not back lit. no digitizer pen. Comes w/ bloatware, But I cleaned some of it out and uninstalled Norton and my Twist is faster. (And a few days ago, I installed Tune up Utilities 2012. I had gotten the CD months back as a freebie w/ Malwarebytes purchased from Newegg during a sell for $15. Best 15 I ever spent! Tune up makes it a breeze to speed up the twist. It has a TURBO mode you can turn on and off. Wow! this thing is super fast now. (but will consume more power) The true bloatware that you can uninstall are: Absolute Reminder, Intel AppUp(SM) center, Nitro Pro, Sugar Sync Manager. There are a couple of Lenovo branded Windows 8 apps that you can choose to do what you want: Companion, Settings, Support. I uninstalled the "Companion" app because it doesn't do much. First things first, let's ditch Norton Internet Security for good. But it will put up a fight. After you select it and click "Uninstall", it will make two last ditch efforts to stay installed. Don't fall for it. Under the screen "Select your Uninstall Preference", click the second option: "Please remove all user data." I had to try several times before I figured out the fake out. It's sleek looking, light weight considering it is a tablet and a laptop combined. And with AMD APP PLAYER by BlueStacks You can run most of your fav Android Apps,in a window (even minimized) w/o doing a dual boot! And its a free download. Just Google it.)You can have the best of both worlds! The display has bright color and is clear and crisp. The sound is Just OK, typical of Laptop speakers. It may have to do with placement of the speakers.(see photo) They should have been put on the sids of display. But the Dolby program works great when you plug in externals or headphones. (they need to take a lesson from Samsung, make their speakers like the Note 10.1. The battery life is no so hot, 4 to 5 hours w/ regular surfing the net and non online use. Less if you add in music or Youtube. Running a video on Netflix, 2hrs of vid and surfing and word pad typing will knock you down to about 2 & 1/2 hrs battery life. All and all it's a great unit, with a little tweaking it is fast. I love that you can use touch while in laptop mode I wanted The Azus Taichi then found out only the outside screen has touch........"
